Strobe Cosmetics

So within the past few months after I moved, I discovered a make up brand, only sold online. And boy did I fall for it. Strobe Cosmetics mainly has eye shadows, but there is also nail polish and lip jellies. Also important to note, Strobe Cosmetics is a company that provides cruelty free makeup and is made with the finest quality ingredients, and you can read about it on their website: http://www.strobecosmetics.com/aboutus.asp

There shows the logo for Strobe Cosmetics on their loose eye shadow containers. I personally like the logo...I think it's cute!

Now first I'm going to review the nail polishes I bought from them. I have 8 total.

For the first 3, we have Coralista, Flounder, and Sea Sprite. These three are part of the Gypsy of the Sea collection. Coralista is a nice true coral color but I haven;t worn it too much, but the color is a very pretty color and looks great. Flounder is a basic yellow color and with this one, I had to do a few layers to really get the color to stand out, but it still looked really nice. Sea Sprite is a nice light green color and out of the three, this one is my favorite. I have worn it so much that my mom finally asked me to use it. And I work with my hands all the time so the fact it stays on over a week for me is awesome.

Here we have the other three of the set, Gypsy of the Sea. The colors are Naga, Hydra, and Sea Bitch...yes Sea Bitch and I love that name for it.. For Naga, it's a nice light blue and out of these three, this one is my favorite. I love blue nail polishes so the fact this one was a lighter blue and had slight hints of green just made me fall in love with it...and just like Sea Sprite...it stayed on for a good amount of time! Hydra is a darker blue with a light indigo hue to it. It was a close call between this one and Naga on which would be my favorite out of the three. Sea Bitch. Just....the name...I love it. It is a true purple color and looks great on as well.

And here we have the last two of my collection. These are Foul Play and Into the Night. Foul Play is such a lovely color. It's a blue toned teal and ugh. It is my overall favorite and I wear this one all the time. Whenever I can't decide what to do with my nails...this is my go to nail polish. Into the Night is a dark purple with some shimmer and if your into the really dark colors for nail polish, then this is a good one to go with.

Over all, I really like the nail polishes and I will most likely buy more in the near future!

Now onto my favorite part...eye shadow!! Strobe Cosmetics mainly has loose eye shadows which I love and recently they came out with pressed eye shadows for the fall!

Now here we have the first set I had purchased from them, which is the Gypsy of the Sea eye shadow collection, and when I actually bought it, I bought the entire collection which had came with the nail polishes as well. The eye shadows and the nail polishes do match which I really liked. I typically use neutral shades but I wanted to add a pop of color somewhere in my make up collection!

Here we have the first three colors of the collection. There is Shellbound, Seashorse, and Neptune's Bounty. Shellbound is a nice true coral...and my picture does it no justice...oops. But it is a really nice light coral color which has actually looked pretty nice when it was going from late summer to early fall. Next is Seahorse and just like the nail polish, it is a basic yellow which would help complete any rainbow look thats for sure! Then there is Neptune's bounty is a nice light green and I have yet to really use this one yet but I love the color and after swatching it, I'm definitely buying this one for my sister for Christmas! Like all the eye shadows from they, they are super pigmented and the color payoff is wonderful!

There three are the others for this lovely collection. The is Aqua Babe, Sea Glass, and Urchin. Aqua Babe is a nice light blue compared to Sea Glass, which is a darker blue and these both match the nail polishes really well. Urchin is a nice rich purple color. Now these three I have yet to really use but I plan to in the future. But when I swatched them, they were super pigmented and I'm just so amazed at how great they look on the skin.

Now these are some of my more neutral shades that I use all the time. First we have Imamachinest, which is named after the artist Alister Dippner and I had first only purchased this one because of the name but I have come to really love the color. It is a shimmery yellow copper color and I just love it! Next is Mojave, which is a red copper color. I actually love pairing Mojave and Imamachinest together. Then we have Sunbeam, and this is a a light peachy gold...it's just a real nice simple nudish color. And this one is my go to when it comes to traveling. I love the fact its a loose eye shadow so I don't actually have to worry about my eye shadow breaking while it's in my bag! ((because it always happened before when I carried a pressed eye shadow pallet around))

Here are my two other neutral shade. Arabian nights is a nice light gold color and looks really great any day, and it is also my other go to eye shadow. Last we have Coyote which this is a nice light brown color with I love wearing with either Sunbeam or Arabian Nights...and I just love the name for it.

Now to the pressed eye shadows. I purchased these when they went up for preorder and there were seven all together...but I decided to go with four of them. I bought Fortune Cookie, Catfight, Timber Wolf, and Rhapsody.

First up is Fortune Cookie. This one is my favorite one out of the four. It is a nice light brown and the size is pretty big for it...plus they each come with a little mirror~ With these...a little goes a long way so make sure you tap your brush after swiping it across. Trust me...these bad boys are worth the bucks you pay for them.

Next is Catfight. It is good gold color and I'm a sucker for the gold eye shadows. I haven't used this one too much yet but I do love the color and the color payoff is definitely worth it.

Now we have Timber Wolf, which is a dark brown color and probably my second favorite out of the four pressed eye shadows. I tend to use this one with Fortune Cookie a lot.

This last one is Rhapsody, which is a deep mahogany red and looks so pretty when used with Fortune Cookie...which the creator of Strobe Cosmetics actually did a wonderful look with them and showed on her instagram which I will actually show because I love it so much
((I didn't take nor do I own this photo...I just really love how the creator, Chloe Tea, used the two eye shadows~))

And here I showed the two I like to wear...which isn't the best to see because I had to camera focused on the eye shadow names...but the color payoff is great. They are bold and seriously super pigmented. I would highly recommend these to anyone.

Strobe Cosmetics is my favorite eye shadow brand and I also just love the creator too because she is just a sweet heart <3
